Mason isn’t a very good sleeper, he never has been. He wakes up in the middle of the night every night and has for years. A lot of times he wakes up because he’s had a bad dream. I felt so badly for him, he would wake up screaming and it seemed like nothing was getting him to stop. It wasn’t almost as if he wasn’t even really awake which is a strong possibility.
Soon after I started getting Young Living oils I came across and oil called Dream Catcher. I was intrigued.
I knew right away that I wanted to try it. It seemed like the perfect oil for Mason at this stage in his life. As soon as I could I ordered a bottle. It comes in a 15ml size which is pretty big, I love the way it smells. It reminds me a lot of my other favorite oil, Peace & Calming. We use it as part of Mason’s bedtime routine he gets a drop on the back of his neck. He even requests it. I noticed a positive change right away. He was waking up but he wasn’t waking up screaming.
I loved it so much I wanted to figure out a way to make it last a little longer and have everyone enjoy it. I combined it with Lavender and Cedarwood to create a special Sweet Dreams DIY Linen Spray perfect for spraying on your pillows and bed sheets right before bed time. This started out as something I was only using for Mason but has quickly become something that I use as well.
