Hi and welcome to Little Us! My name is Christa and I’m a New Yorker living in Virginia. It’s been over 10 years at this point and I’m still not used to it. I’m so glad that you made your way here, when I first started blogging I was literally writing to myself so to know that other people are actually reading always blows my mind a bit.
I have five little ones. Mason who was born January 30th, 2010, just one day after *my* birthday! Then comes my daughter. Her story is different. When I was 18 weeks pregnant my water broke and we lost our daughter, Elena 5 days later after delivery. She lived for 30 amazing minutes were I got to hold her and sing to her. Not a day goes by that I don’t miss her. She should have been born in July 2012. Baby3 now officially known as Kyla was born March 10th 2013. She is the true definition of a rainbow baby, she has brought so much joy to our lives after so much heartache. Baby4, our team green baby, joined the world January 22nd 2016. Our youngest baby, Magnolia, was born in November of 2019.
You can pretty much find anything and everything here. I blog about my life and that can’t be pegged down into one little niche. I blog about grief and Elena but I also blog my favorite recipes. You can also find me blogging about essential oils, parenting, our favorite reads , my favorite quotes and OF COURSE the kids!

I have been following you on Pinterest, and recently found your blog through “StumbleUpon”. Just curious….what does “…BGCG” stand for?
BG is my boyfriend’s initials and CG is my initials. So Little BGCG=Mason/my kids
Oh! Thanks. Great blog…sorry for your recent loss. I have a friend who has lost three children: one miscarriage, one lost shortly after birth, and one killed in a tragic accident at 9 years old. I have shared her pain, so I know what you must be dealing with. God bless you and your family.
