I go through an ENORMOUS amount of coffee creamer which you may remember from my DIY Peppermint Mocha Coffee Creamer post. It’s actually a little embarrassing. I usually get 2 medium sized containers and go through about 1.5 a week. More if it’s the summer and I’m drinking iced coffee a lot.
Not only does that type of intake get expensive but it’s also not the healthiest for you. I’m not a stickler about processed foods, but it doesn’t hurt to eat less of it whenever you can! Vanilla coffee creamer is one of our regulars when we do get coffee creamer so when I realized we were out the other day I decided I needed a homemade vanilla coffee creamer.
The amount of time it takes to make this is so minimal I almost feel bad sharing it and calling it a “recipe” but I figured I couldn’t hold out! Simple, delicious and fast is a win all around for me! I felt the consistency was perfect when comparing it to my typical store bought coffee creamer. I loved that taste too!
There are so many different ways that you can spice this up too. Use the basic ingredients 1 can sweetened condensed milk and 2 cups milk and then add whatever you want–cinnamon, almond extract, nutmeg, peppermint, mocha, PB2. The list goes on and on! I’ll be sure make more variations and share the recipes! For now you’ll just have to settle for homemade vanilla coffee creamer, nothing fancy but nothing short of delicious!
Ingredients
Directions
- In medium sized mixing bowl whisk together 1 14.5 ounce of sweetened condensed milk, 2 cups milk and 1 tsp of Vanilla Extract.
- Store in an air tight container, refrigerator for up to 10 days.

Sounds awesome, but I have one problem with this recipe (yes, it IS one):
I’ll EAT that ENTIRE can of sweetened condensed milk before any of it makes it into the bowl. (No lol, I most likely would.)

I might, however, consider a hazelnut version for my Older Son. Now how to get around the sugar aspect… 😉
