We have been so slow moving this week! I’m a little in shock that it’s 2015.
We had a wonderful New Year’s Eve. We went to a friend’s house, the kids had a blast, we laughed and we listened to music, it was fun. So fun it makes me look forward to next year. Although I sincerely hope it happens far before then.
I didn’t get a single picture of my kids together on NYE. They both looked adorable but neither one of them would have it. They were too busy having fun and Kyla has no problem voicing her opinions when it comes to picture time! Even getting this one was a stretch!

Speaking of Kyla and her little personality she has been learning even more words and I swear there have been quite a few times where I was certain that she spoke a 2-3 sentence. Yesterday I was showing B a picture in a new book I got and Ky made it clear that she wanted to see the book. It was almost as if I heard her say “Mama let me see it” but I don’t think she said it quite that clearly!
Other words she’s been saying recently:
- “No, No, No”–always in threes. I need to record it!
- “Ho, Ho, Ho” (What does Santa Say?)
- Remote
- French Fry
- Happy
Since hearing Kyla say “No, No, No” I realized that *I* say it like that! It’s quite scary that when you see your children mirroring you!
