The kids and I have been taking full advantage of the summer. It’s one of the reasons my plate is so full. I make sure that every single day we get out and do something even if it’s just a walk to the park. More often than note we meet up with someone awesome from our playgroup.
I want them to be outside and enjoy the beautiful weather because before you can say “Summer” it will be fall. And then the dreaded Winter! I can’t even handle thinking about it. Makes me anxious. Good weather does good things for your soul.
On Sunday the kids and I headed outside to go to the park when we saw a storm brewing so we headed back inside. About 30 minutes later I realized the storm hadn’t come and when I stepped outside the weather looked good. It was the strangest thing. So off to the park we went.
We were only there for about an hour but the kids had so much fun. And right before we left, right before it was about to be pretty darn dark I made the kids take a picture for me. <3
Mason and I ran around playing tag with Kyla following after us. She is getting such a personality. She’s telling all these babbling stories.
When she gives kisses she grabs your face with both hands and lands ones right on the smacker. Too cute.
And Mason man his imagination is growing each and every day. Saturday while his Daddy was making some chicken on the BBQ pit he had on his army back pack, his Captain America Shield and sword. He proudly swung it around and alerted Daddy that he was vanquishing all the bad guys.
Today while at the park (again) we teleported all over the playground! It was quite a blast!
