This post was inspired by my partnership with Global Influence and Hershey’s.
Last year Easter which just two weeks after Kyla was born at the very end of March. This year Easter is almost a full month later. The first half of the year is always a busy one for us so I’m glad that Easter isn’t as close to Kyla’s birthday this year, which is great because it gives me way more time to figure out Easter Baskets and what I’m going to make for Easter Dinner.
And lets not forget the snacks, like Easter Muddy Buddies. Easter is all about the candy!
WHOPPERS ROBIN EGGS Easter Muddy Buddies to be exact! After I made St Patrick’s Day Easter Muddy Buddies and devoured them I knew I had to make an Easter version and since B’s favorite easter candy is WHOPPERS ROBIN EGGS I knew I had to add them too! This is the perfect snack for us, he ate all the WHOPPERS ROBIN EGGS and I ate all the muddy buddies! YUM! Making homemade muddy buddies are super easy! Here goes….
Measure out 9 cups of Rice Chex cereal and set aside.
Melt 1 cup white vanilla baking chips, 1/2 cup peanut butter and 4 tablespoons butter.
Once the mixture is smooth pour the peanut butter mixture over the cereal stirring until evenly coated.
Split the mixture in half. Toss 1/2 with 2/3 powdered sugar until evenly coated. Spread out and cool for 15 Minutes.
Pour 1/3 cup Sprinkles and 1 bag WHOPPERS ROBIN EGGS into the other half and mix together. Spread on parchment paper and let cool for 15 minutes.
After 15 minutes mix the two halves back together.Serve immediately or store in an air tight container.
