Every week Kyla and I head to a spanish class/playgroup for 2-3 year olds. It is always so much fun and I love that crafts that we do. Each class has a different theme, last week’s class was “The Pumpkin Patch”. We sang our usual songs in the beginning, read a book about pumpkins, picked a pumpkin from the “pumpkin patch” and did a fun pumpkin craft. It was a perfect easy pumpkin craft for toddlers so I wanted to share it with you here!
You’ll Need:
- Orange Crepe paper
- Green Construction Paper
- Brown Construction Paper
- A paper plate
- Glue
- Pen/Crayon for tracing
- Scissors
Directions:
Trace your child’s hand prints onto a piece of green construction paper and cut out. Use the brown construction paper to make a stump.
Spread glue all over the paper plate. Tear the orange crepe paper into small pieces. Kids love to help with this part!
Have your child place the torn pieces of orange crepe paper onto the plate.
Glue the stump and hand prints to the top of the plate to complete your pumpkin.
I told you it was easy!
