I’m so excited that Mason has this entire week off. While I still have a decent amount to do in order to prepare for Christmas I love having him home. I miss him a ton when he is in school and I know that while he’s having fun he misses us too or at least the activities we do! I wanted to make sure that we spent this entire week doing fun Christmas-y stuff. I want the week of Christmas to be magical for my littles. Christmas was always so fun for me growing up and I want that for my kids too.
In order to help facilitate that I’ve been looking up Christmas activities for children and have a craft, activity or event planned for every day this week. I’m not sure we’ll get to everything on my list but we’ll try! Another thing I didn’t mention here because I forgot to take a picture was that Target had these Wooden Gingerbread houses in the dollar spot that came with white puffy paint and stickers. Their elves brought them this morning and they had a blast decorating them. Best part? There was minimal clean up and it wasn’t a struggle putting it together!
A note on these, while I did them as “Christmas Party Favors” they’re a super fun craft to make for the kids. all it takes is mod podge, a mason jar, tissue paper and some scissors if you want to make Christmas shapes. They make fun handmade gifts and hold up really well!

What activities do you have planned for your children this week? I’d love to hear them!
