Does this mean I’m officially in the 3rd trimester? There seems to be some debate as to if it starts at 27 weeks on the dot, if it happens somewhere in between 27 and 28 weeks or if happens at 28 weeks on the dot. I’m not sure my pregnant brain can handle trying to figure out the answer so here’s what I’m going with. It doesn’t matter what trimester I’m in because holy moly I’m already 27 weeks! 
At 13.6 to 14.8 inches and 1.5 to 2.5 pounds, she’s not just getting bigger, she’s getting smarter. He’s practicing inhaling and exhaling with his rapidly developing lungs. It’s official: Baby’s showing brain activity! And his brain will keep on getting more complex.
How Far Along: 27 Weeks
Due Date: January 15th, 2016
Boy or girl: Team Green
Currently craving/avoiding: I’m officially combing these questions and considering removing them. Unless my pregnancy brain is causing me to forget the answers to these questions I just can’t think of anything I’m craving/avoiding outside of what it always seems to be. Salad! And even that isn’t totally rare of me.
Weight: 7-8lbs. I’m still happy with this considering how far along I am at this point!
Belly button status: IN!
Sleep grade: I need to get more, staying up until midnight is not smart!
Recent Crazy Dream: I had one but now I can’t remember it of course! It was weird though and I’m pretty sure it bordered on being scary.
Evidence of pregnancy brain: ^^Please see above.
Symptoms?: Heartburn and being uncomfortable in general.
Health/Appointments: I had an appointment with my midwife on Tuesday. Everything looked good, baby’s heartrate was in the 140s. When I told B that he was all “It’s a boy”. BUT on Fridays I get my shots done and she does the heart rate then too and it was 160. This baby just doesn’t want us to know what it is!
Movement: Lots more active this week especially at night which is fairly common for this little one!
Any baby related purchases?: Nada! I feel a little bad for this baby lol. I think if I knew what we were having I’d be purchasing more.
Best Thing About This Week: Mason had his first field trip for school this week and it was so much fun to go with him. I chaperoned another little boy while I was there and it got me all sappy thinking about how one day in the near future I would have THREE little ones to take after!
