When I first started writing these posts about conceiving another baby I wasn’t sure if we would ever have another baby. I knew that *I* wanted to have another baby but I also knew that B was done. So that meant that I was done. But I also knew that my family didn’t feel complete. While I know it will never be complete on one level since Elena is not with us I knew this was a different kind of complete. I knew another baby was something I wanted for our family but I also knew it wasn’t going to happen.
Until it happened.
While it was a “surprise”, I do know where babies come from so it wasn’t a HUGE surprise. B however seems to not know where babies come from because he was shocked. I’ve since schooled him and explained to him how it all works.
So now you’re doing math right? Let me make it easy for you! As of publishing this post I’m 20 Weeks and 6 days. I’m MORE than half baked. I do have some back dated posts to publish on this pregnancy. There are various reasons why it took me so long to come out of the closet and let me tell you it was HARD because I wanted to scream it from the roof tops. A baby is a blessing and I feel more than blessed to get the chance to mother another little baby.
Mason and Kyla are SO excited. Kyla is convinced a baby sister is on the way. Mason is convinced a baby brother is on the way. As for me, I really don’t know! I thought boy at first and then girl and now I go back and forth. I’m hoping to be Team Green this time around. I’m pretty sure I can hold strong.
