We had Spring Break this week and knowing I had something to do at the end of the week I made sure we made the most of our week in the beginning. We spent a full day at the park which is always so much fun and then friends came over. We had Karate. We even went to the museum for the first time in a couple of weeks and did some face painting.
I hand painted both of those cute little faces. I was pretty impressed with myself. If Doula-ing doesn’t work out I think I’ve got a career in face painting ahead of me 😉
On Friday we visited a toy store a couple of towns over, they have so many great things including this awesome Knight outside the front door! Perfect Picture opp.
After that we grabbed pizza, the kids were wild but luckily no one else was there and most importantly they were having fun. They had even more fun once they got some gelato!
Saturday we prepped for Easter!
Mason woke up so excited to hunt for Easter Eggs. Kyla still didn’t really know what was going on but once she did she was all about it. She loved her basket especially her crown and wand. She barely wanted to put down her wand to get the eggs!
After the Easter Egg hunt we played with everything in the Easter baskets including a cool new game called Q’s Race to the Top. It’s such a great game that helps us talk about a lot of everyday things that relate to behavior and feelings. It also keeps you active while playing. There will be more to come on this game!
After we had breakfast B went fishing and the kids and I headed to a friends house but not before I got them all dressed up and took some pictures!
Kyla was not amused by the photos at all. By the end she was all….
Once at our friend’s house we did another Easter Egg hunt. Whenever we go to this friend’s house the kids always get some “healthy” lollipops. Kyla is always willing to share with me which is so very sweet!
Around dinner time we headed back home since I had a Turkey in the oven. We enjoyed a wonderful meal and finished our day with some classic selfies.
I hope you all had a lovely Easter weekend.
