Family adventures aka our weekly photo dump!
Last week was a busy one, between myself and the kids stuff it seemed like we had something to do every single day. Which while nice because it gets us out of the house it can also be a little time consuming. Despite everything we had going on we still managed to have a great week!
Can we talk about Kyla for a second? Cause let me tell you, this girl is still sassy. Nothing has changed since last week. Doesn’t she look so peaceful sleeping?
Fooled ya didn’t she? She’s not sleeping. She’s pretending to sleep because she doesn’t want me to take her picture. I feel like I won this round. Picture still taken.
This time last year I was still wearing Kyla into Mason’s preschool for pick up. But not she insists on walking and it usually involves carrying something, a baby doll, a purse and sometimes both. She’ll even carry Mason’s stuff sometimes too. And in true Diva fashion she insists on wearing her hood up.
Too cute for words watching her walk ahead of me!
Also cute? These two sitting together at Barnes and Noble sharing a cookie. I can’t get enough of these two together!
Wednesday it rained so Daddy was home too. Kyla is a Daddy’s girl and it so cute seeing them together! Her shirt says “I Melt My Daddy’s Heart”. Perfect shirt for a perfect cuddle session!
Mason had his first official day of Karate this week. He went for a trial class on Monday and then on Wednesday we officially signed him up. He LOVES it and it’s so adorable to watch!
He opted to do Karate instead of T-Ball this year so I really hope he continues to enjoy it!
Remember this game? Mason and I were playing on Thursday and I’d bet a million my parents wanted to run the other way anytime I brought this game out! It’s the never ending game. I swear we played for 30+ minutes. Every time we got to the we were sucked down a slide of despair!
We had a lot of fun on Friday too, we went to Chick-Fil-A were I had a meeting with my oil gals. While we met the kids played. It was a great evening. Saturday was the best though. We hung out all day. We colored together and played silly games where Mommy pretended she was in a musical and sang every single thing she said. Then we had a dance party before bedtime!
Sunday I learned how to make Bone Broth and Pho thanks to my friend from Olives & Honey. She lives on a wonderful property and the kids were able to play outside with little to no concern. It was a great end to a great week! I’m excited to see what the next week brings us!
