I’ve been taking these weekly sibling photos for 40 weeks now. That’s about just as long as a woman is pregnant! That also means that in just 12 short weeks my baby, Kyla is going to be 2! I seriously can’t believe how fast this has been going!
As I’ve mentioned in the past some weeks the pictures are better than others. This week was one of those weeks where I couldn’t get a good picture to save my life. They just weren’t interested. Little Miss Kyla was even trying her head away from the camera on purpose! She’s a pill that one! This one is a little blurry but still a good one of Mason and you can see Kyla purposefully avoiding the camera.
Despite her not wanting to take a picture with her brother I was still able to get a few great shots of her! I especially love the second one!
This was the best I got of the two of them!
No the best sibling shot but representative of reality. You can’t always get both of your kids to look at the camera at the same time no matter how much you want too!
Kyla does this thing with her fingers where she points at you or something she wants and bends her pointer finger back and forth. It’s the cutest thing and she did it today when B mentioned that he heard a plane. She said Plane (New word alert) and then pointed her little finger in the sky.
Another new word she learned this week? “Remote”. B says that she’s not saying it correctly but I say it counts because I know exactly what she’s talking about!
In other Kyla news she gone #2 on the potty for the last week. It’s awesome not changing poopy diapers! She also finally started signing “please”. She also will “sing” the ABCs which is so adorable!
Both she and Mason did so well at our Christmas Celebration with B’s Mom’s side of the family. Mason was gracious and kind and said Thank You. Kyla was thrilled and squealed at almost every gift that she opened. The first one was a set of twin dolls and I’ve never heard her squeal like that before. It was adorable and made me so excited for Christmas morning.
