I participated in an Ambassador Program on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Brancott Estate Wines. I received product samples to facilitate my review as well as a promotional item to thank me for my participation.
As the weather warms up I’m finding myself spending more and more time out and about with friends enjoying the warm sunshine on my face, extra time outdoors with the kids and play dates galore. It’s been so lovely to not be stuck indoors all day long.
Now that Kyla is over a year I find myself thinking about “me time” more and more. She’s old enough to where I feel like like she can stay with Daddy for longer than usual while I go out with friends. I must admit that a lot of the time my “me time” involves friends and alcohol. Unfortunately that doesn’t always fit into my “I must look good in a bathing suit” goal.
Luckily there are lighter calorie options starting with Brancott Estate Flight Song which is crafted to be 20% lighter in calories compared with Brancott Estate Sauvignon Blanc 2012 & Pinot Grigio 2012. It comes in two varieties a Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Grigio.
How Does it Have Less Calories?
Brancott Estate Flight Song is made using grapes harvested earlier in the season when their sugar levels are naturally lower.
It may have less calories but it still has the same great flavor.
Tasting notes on the Sauvignon Blanc include pink grapefruit and passionfruit with a ripe lemon acidity. Tasting notes in the Pinot Grigio include ripe apple, nashi pear and floral notes which makes it my pick for the Sangrias listed below. However, both can stand on their own or in a delicious summer sangria.
Wine and Fruit? Win.
