I’m what they call a “Football Widow” so I can’t wait until football season is over every year. Maybe when the kids are a little older and I can join in on the festivities a little more it’ll be more exciting, but for now it can be a bit of a pain. One thing I always forget – that once football season is over basketball season starts and they have about a billion games.
Luckily, B doesn’t go to many basketball games, but watches them at home a lot and I must admit that college basketball is my absolute favorite. It’s so entertaining. We have people over more often, which is great for me because I love to entertain and make yummy goodies for our guests! First up for our lucky guests? Spicy Chex® Mix.

I *love* Chex® mix because it’s super easy to make and quick!
In a large microwavable bowl mix Rice Chex®, Wheat Chex®, Melba Toast, Pretzel Sticks and cheese crackers. Set aside.
In a small microwavable bowl melt 1/2 stick of butter. Then add in 1 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce, 1 1/4 teaspoons seasoned salt and 5 tablespoons Louisiana hot sauce.
Add the butter mixture to the Chex® mix and toss until evenly coated.
Microwave for 5-6 minutes stirring every 2 minutes. Spread out on a large cookie sheet to let cool.
Serve immediately or store in an airtight container.

Enjoy!
