Both Mason and Cash are afraid of the vacuum, the second it comes on Cash bolts up the stairs and Mason scrambles for any toys he left lying on the floor and jumps onto the couch.
Not too long ago I was getting ready to vacuum and picking up Mason’s toys when I started to get the vacuum ready with Kyla still on the floor

Mason started screaming “DON’T VACUUM UP MY SISTER”!!! So being the awesome Mom that I am I of course use this opportunity to scare the day lights out of my son who is sometimes mean to his little sister.
“I dunno Mason, I think I’m going to vaccuum up Kyla!”
Mason screams again “Don’t VACUUM UP MY SISTER! I WANT TO KEEP HER”
So despite him wanting to “Push her back into my tummy” it turns out he really does want to keep her.
Good thing he’s come to that realization because I have no intentions of pushing her back into my tummy!

LOL my kids and the dog are afraid too.. must be the loud noise…
Awww, that is a sweet story. My son is a little scared too and always thinks I will vacuum up his toys.
Awww see he loves her <3
Haha! I think she’s a keeper!!
My sister told me she washed my problem down the drain when I was little. My problem even stood in the closet and make gargling noises and I was so upset….the things you can get kids to believe.

and that would be brother, not problem
Sounds like you also might have found a way to encourage Mason to help clean up his toys, haha. I love the picture of Mason kissing Kyla. Such a good big brother!
Sometimes I wish my dog was afraid of the vacuum. She just sits there and ignores me when I try to clean a room. I guess she thinks I should vacuum around her. Mason and Kyla look beautiful together.
So adorable! I love the last picture, she’s getting so big!
