Truth: I love infomercials.
I can seriously stay up all night watching infomercials and have been known to order my fair share of things off of the good ole TV. One of the things I was always intrigued about was the ! It looked amazing and so comfy!
But I never bit the bullet and ordered it mainly because I’m large chested girl. But that didn’t stop me from being intrigued so when I got the chance to try them I of course accepted happily!
As soon as I got them I began wearing them. My first thought?
They are comfy!
But I noticed right away that they weren’t very discreet if you catch my drift. Then I realized that’s what the inserts must be for! When I first opened the box I didn’t realize they were in there!
The use of the pads are optional but were a major plus for me.
They slip in really easily through a hole in the top.
Here’s what the pads help combat for me
1) It provided extra padding so that my nothing was poking through my shirt.
2) It made for less chance of uniboob
3) It help to provide a little more lift than without.
Overall I liked the Genie Bra. I was pleasantly surprised with how much it actually did hold my breasts up. It was very comparable to my bras that have under wires which I never thought was possible. I’ve always assumed that since I have a larger chest that I *needed* underwire but that doesn’t quite seem to be the case. I also liked that you couldn’t see the lines of the bra however you do have to be careful what shirts you were with it in regards to how low cut it is and the straps. This isn’t a bra you can wear with a low v-neck or thin straps.
At this point in my life as I’m preparing to welcome another baby into this world comfort is key. I’m confidant that these bras will be my go to as this pregnancy progresses and after I have the baby and while I’m nursing. I even talked to B about how I think I figured out what I’ll be wearing during delivery!
I’ve had such a good experience with the Genie Bra so far and as I continue to wear that I will let you know how they hold up! So far so good though which makes me really excited to try their Slim and Tone Leggings that I was also sent. They do not quite fit at this point (not that I really expected them too) but I think they’ll be *really* helpful once the baby comes and I’m trying to slim and tone every inch of my body!
If you want to learn more about Genie Bra and see other people’s experiences be sure to check out their Facebook Page.
I’m also infomercial obsessed and I’ve always wondering how they would fit as well! I’ll have to give them a try since I’m larger in the chest area too and comfort is key right now! 😉
I always see these bras when walking by the “As Seen on TV” area in Wal-Mart and have always been curious if they were actually comfy…. because as a mom of three and currently breastfeeding I live for comfort. And thanks for mentioning those inserts because I have the problem of…. certain things…. poking through my shirt. LOL.
You can buy them at Target and Wlalgreens too.
You can buy them at Target and Walgreens too. I live in mine and
threw out all the other bras.
Sounds like a great bra.
I’m not one for showing nip either, but truth be told, I’d need the inserts to fill the dang bra!
ohh i didn’t know the support is still so good!!
