It’s hard to believe that tax season is already right around the corner but it is. It’s always like that, you think you have time and then before you know it taxes are due. Which this year is a lot like Baby3. I think I have time but if Tax Season is right around the corner than so is Baby3 which means so is lots of expenses.

If you’re lucky though tax season can also come with a little bit of extra spending money. Which is going to be beyond helpful for us this year!
I know that for me in years passed I have had these grand ideas of what I’ll do with my tax refunds. Maybe fix a certain part of the house, pay off certain bills. The list goes on. Then the money gets deposited into my account and before I know it, it’s gone, spent on one thing or another. I lost track of it so quickly.
This year we can’t have that happen to us again. We’re going to need any tax refund that we get this year to help us with Baby3’s arrival. Most likely because we’re a last minute type of family we’ll get our tax refund in April. We plan on using the refund to help us with any things Baby3 related that we still need to get and/or finalize.
In order to make sure that it goes to Baby3 and everything Baby3 related we plan on getting our tax refund loaded onto a Visa Prepaid card.

I’m like you, and can not wait to get some extra money for taxes! We’re completely remodeling our bathroom with our refund!
We always say the same thing too. That we will use it to remodel, but then bills come before that and since we will be having baby 3 in May. Baby will come first too 🙂

We Are planning on finishing our basement with our refund money. This is a really great idea. I too have a tendency to spend money without even realizing it.
We had to pay last year, the first year ever. I hope we get something back or break even.
We never get a big refund, we get more of our money during the year, but who couldn’t use $2,500.

Oh gosh…. tax time…. I don’t even wanna think about it! But this is a great idea because we to spend it all and then wonder where it went. I’d love to put ours towards getting a bigger vehicle this year. Hopefully!
