We’re almost to hump day on our second week of school already and I figure it’s high time I share some back to school pictures and updates on my little babies!
First up, my oldest baby is 9 1/2 and just started 4th Grade.

How is he already more than halfway done with elementary school? He’s also rapidly approaching 10 which is just more than this almost 30 week pregnant mama can handle. Oh yea. Did I mention that? If you follow me on Instagram or we’re friends on Facebook, but if this is the only way you keep up with me, you might not know. but I’m PREGNANT!
I’m so excited to see all the ways in which he grows this year.
My sassy little Ky started 1st grade this year. Things are going to go just as fast as it did with her brother, I’m sure of it.

This little lady was so nervous to start 1st grade which threw me for a loop. She even asked me to drive her to school and walk her to her classroom which I happily did. It was just odd because last year when she started Kindergarden she wanted to take the bus on the first day and wasn’t worried at all to find her classroom. Now that the second week is underway she’s still a little nervous but good to go for the most part. On the days I didn’t walk her in Mason walked her to her classroom. Monday morning when I dropped her off she went over how to get there with me again just to be sure.
She was so apprehensive before school started that she even asked to homeschool. I can’t say I haven’t thought about it, but the dual immersion program the kids are in make it so hard to make that move. I can’t teach them spanish and their PUBLIC elementary school is! It feels like an opprotunity I can’t give up.
I’m excited to see Kyla learn how to read this year and continue to grow in Math!

I love our annual sibling shot, I take one on the last day of school and it’s so fun to see how they’ve grown. Emilia hasn’t started preschool yet but she will soon! I’m excited to take her first day of school photos. She is SO ready to start. I have a feeling that if I had told her she could get on the bus with the kids and go to school with them she totally would have.
I’m so glad I found this on Pinterest before the kids started school. It’s been so fun to watch them grow into these shirts!

The year 2028 is finally starting to look real to me but 2031 still feels surreal!

Some Things We’re Loving So Far
We’re not even a full two weeks in but there are some things we’re loving that I want to share!
First up, we’re still loving our Planetboxes that we got last August. They’re still going strong and they fit so much food. They’re having 25% off until September 15th so if you’ve been thinking about getting some, this is the best sale I’m seeing!
We’re also loving getting up early. Okay not LOVING. But our mornings do tend to go much smoother when we wake up earlier, imagine that!
Slow Cooker meals have also been the best and made for relaxing evenings with the kids. We made Slow Cooker Meatballs one night, I winged it, but if you need a recipe this one should do. We also did a lemon and mushroom chicken in the slow cooker and served it over rice. I winged that one too, but this recipe is similar if you need some guidance, just add some lemon juice to taste for the lemon portion of lemon and mushroom chicken!
What’s Next
I’ll be back soon with an update on the baby and I. I’m kinda kicking myself that I didn’t do weekly updates like I did with every other baby! It’s always so fun for me to go back and look at what I was up too so I’m going to get back into doing that for these last 10ish weeks or so!
Geez, 10 weeks. That’s wild.
Until then.
