How Far Along: 30 Weeks
Switch Day: Thursday
Due Date: November 7th 2019
Boy or girl: Team Green
Currently craving: I’ve been wanting pasta, like a creamy yummy, cheese filled pasta, it was unexpectedly filled at a school pot luck and it was delicious. Now I want more.
Currently Avoiding: Besides one or two things nothing really sounds good. I’m probably not eating as much as I should and when I do eat it’s usually carbs. Whoops.
Weight: I haven’t weighed myself and I don’t plan too!
Belly button status: In. I can’t see it ever not being in.
Sleep grade: Between all three of the kids I’m up AT LEAST once a night and then either Mason or Emilia wake me up before my alarm most nights. My hips are also not doing well either when I sleep nor is this one spot in my back. Going to the chiropractor helps but let’s just say I wish I could go weekly! My pregnancy pillow was really helping but it bit the dust. I think it’s fixable–I just have to do it.
Recent Crazy Dream: I can’t think of any right now. I feel like one that I had is on the tip of my tongue but I can’t quite place it. I did have a dream about the sex of the baby ages ago–I think I’m going to do a post about it, I doubt I’ll forget it, I haven’t forgotten any of my dreams with my girls but I want to share for good measure.
Evidence of pregnancy brain: I sent out mail recently and messed up 2 out of the 3 addresses. Who does that?!
Symptoms?: Walking up the stairs makes me all sorts of winded. Sitting is my friend.
Health/Appointments: I got the results back from my Gestational Diabetes test back and luckily my results were great! No GD here! Such a huge relief for me. My mom had it with all of her pregnancies and I’ve seen it up close and personal and wanted nothing to do with it!
Movement: Baby has been slowing down a bit this week but I’m still getting solid, strong movement that totally catches me off guard sometimes. Like whoa. There’s a baby in there. When did that happen?
Names: Gah, it’s depressing for me to even think about names. I have like one girl name and zero boy names. Or at least zero boy names that I know B would agree too. We haven’t discussed names at all except for me to say to B that we REALLY need to start thinking about names.
Any baby related purchases? Not a thing. But I do have a good idea of what I want and need. Top 3 right now are:
- Birth Photography
- Moses Basket
- New Baby Carrier
In other news we found out that Mason’s HUGE 4th grade field trip (which is three hours away) is 6 days before my due date. I’ve already decided that unless a baby is literally coming out of me, I’m going. I don’t want to miss it!
This sweet girl is in panic mode over the whole thing because B and I joked that I might have a baby on the field trip OR on the side of the road. Which would be totally fine with Ky, as long as she still gets to cut the cord! Mason cut Emilia’s cord and now Ky will cut this baby’s cord. I love that they get to participate in this way and I can’t wait for them to be at the birth!
