Call me crazy but one of my favorite things to do is to take BOTH of the kids, BY MYSELF to a sit down restaurant. And NO that was not suppose to be in the sarcasm font. For some reason they seem to do best when it’s just me and them and I seem to be more patient as well. It’s like *knowing* I’m their only option doesn’t make me as frustrated when they want to be on my lap while I eat. But when we go out with B too they’re still choosing me and I get frustrated. WHY ME Y’ALL. WHY?!
Sure they may do things like this when I ask them to smile
But they also sit quietly and eat.
Today they were so adorable. I felt like I was getting a glimpse of my future. They sat on the same side of the booth and I sat on the other. They were playing with each other and making each other laugh. I was dying of the cute.
Our lunch date this time around was at Pizza Hut. One of the perks of being a blogger’s kid sometimes involves impromptu lunch dates. We were there to try out their new menu, Flavor of Now. They revamped the entire menu and it was looking good!

It was a tough choice but ultimately I decided on the Creamy Parmesan Sauce, topped with fresh spinach and a toasted Asiago crust.
One of my favorite things about our lunch date was how quickly our food came. When it comes to eating out with kids the best thing you can do is make sure you keep it snappy! Typically our lunch dates last anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour but never longer because that’s when things start to go sour.
I was SO impressed by this pizza it was so delicious and I was thrilled I got bring home some leftovers for lunch another day! Who wouldn’t want to eat this!?
