When I was a little girl Sleeping Beauty was one of my favorite Disney movies. I loved the idea of Fairies, Magical Wands and a kiss that could break a curse. When I found out that it was released on January 29th 1959 I felt a special connection to Sleeping Beauty. My birthday, while not in 1959 is January 29th!
Beauty, wonder and adventure spin together in a grand legend that transcends time as Maleficent, one of animation’s most spectacular villains, sends the kingdom’s beloved Princess Aurora into an enchanted sleep. In a majestic story that awakens all your senses, Good Fairies arm brave Prince Phillip to defeat a fearsome fire-breathing dragon and rescue Aurora. But success in battle may not be enough, for the only way to awaken the Princess is with True Love’s kiss!

Mason being a boy, wasn’t as interested in Sleeping Beauty as I was but I sure did get a kick out of it! I’m so excited for when Kyla is a little older and gets into it! I’m all about Disney Princesses. There’s nothing wrong with believing in fairy tales as far as I’m concerned. The Diamond Edition is well worth it even if you already own a copy of Sleeping Beauty (as I do). The Sleeping Beauty Diamond Edition contains digitally restored picture and sound, a digital copy of the film, and the bonus features listed above. Make sure you get the Blu Ray for maximum benefits!
You can purchase Sleeping Beauty Diamond Edition wherever you purchase DVDs locally as well as on Amazon.com.
