I am part of the PTPA Brand Ambassador Program with Verizon Wireless and I received compensation as part of my affiliation with this group. The Softcard related content is provided by Verizon Wireless. The opinions on this blog are my own.
Friday I went shopping with my Mom for a dress to wear to one of my dear friends wedding’s. Mason and Kyla came along too. Mason as always was very amped up and could hardly sit still while I was trying on dresses. A few times my Mom looked at me with an “OH BOY” sort of face.
To which I replied. This is my life. This is how I ALWAYS shop. Not in a mean way just as a “Now you see what I mean when I say I’m stressed”. She jokingly said that she would never leave her house.
But obviously that’s not an option. Nor is leisurely shopping 95% of the time. I have to be in and out. I have to have a game plan. I have to know what I’m getting, make a bee line for it, get it and head straight to the register. The second I start getting a little too over confident is the second Mason gets overzealous and wants to run and be everywhere in the store all at the same time.
But then I have this other little issue. I’m not exactly the most organized person in the world. I have a purse the size of a weekender. Not even joking. I’m 100% sure my bag is meant to be a weekender bag but I use it as a purse. It carries any and all of the kids stuff, regular purse stuff, oils and often my planners and notebooks.
And more often than not I’m the woman with two crazy kiddos frantically searching for her card that she “could have sworn” she dropped into her bag on her previous trip. BUT I don’t HAVE to be that woman. I can be organized because there’s one thing I almost always have one me, my phone and with the new Softcard app from Verizon I can store all my loyalty cards (hello empty key chain) and my credit card in one spot.
What’s Softcard?
Softcard is a free app that allows you to pay in store with the tap of your phone, store all of your loyalty cards and payment information in one place.
You can link your American Express, Chase and Wells Fargo card to your Softcard Account. If you don’t have any of those you can sign up for an American Express Serve® Account which enables you to add money to your Serve card from your preferred debit card, credit card or U.S. bank account.
Is it Secure?
The simple answer is YES! It uses state of the art technology and multiple layers of security to ensure that all your information is protected. In order to use the app you also have to have a four digit pin code.
Where can I use it?
You can pay with Softcard anywhere contactless payments are accepted, at over 200,000 locations nationwide
Why Use Softcard?
There are a ton of reasons why you should be using Softcard, my favorite reason is the convenience. It makes it so much quicker for me to make payments when out and about with the kids. I wish ALL places made it this easy. I’m also loving the savings that I can get because of the app and the money back opportunities. Here let me tell you…
