What a crazy week it’s been!
We got back from the beach on Sunday and lazed around and then we spent the next three days going to appointments, meetings and preparing for a trip to NY.
3 1/2 days after we got back from the beach I packed up the kids to head to NY so I could attend my friend and Mason’s Godmom’s wedding (HEEYYYYYY If you’re reading ;)) . The ride went smoothly, the kids did great. After going to NY about once a month every month since May I think Kyla has finally adjusted. It’s going to make rides so much smoother from here on out!
We had a really nice visit, my only regrets are that we couldn’t stay longer and I forgot to get a picture of Mason with his Godmom after her ceremony. Even though the trip was great I’m looking forward to sticking close to home until after the New Year. But don’t be surprised if I end up in NY at least one more time before the end of the year, apparently I can’t stay away!
Poor Miss Kyla developed a infection on her foot so she’s been taking Espom Salt baths daily and of course if Kyla is in the bath Mason needs to be in the bath too. When we were in NY bath time often also involved my youngest brother and sister. It’s so fun to see all four kids, two my own and two my siblings having a great time together.
Kyla is getting so big. Any time the three older ones were outside playing she wanted to join them and there was no telling her no. She is a demanding little thing. To give you an idea of what I mean her latest word is “Mine”. She said it before months ago but now she says it all.the.time.
Mason has taken an interest in drawing and writing! He even writes his own name which I think is amazing. I’m so proud of him!
Who knows what developments this next week will bring!
