This week was a crazy week. I had so much to get done before we headed to New York for my baby sister’s Sweet 16. I can’t believe she’s 16 already. I have three sisters and as of right now both of my sisters are 16. No they’re not twins. The older one of the two will be 17 at the end of June. Those two sisters are 10 1/2 months apart.
It’s always been interesting watching them grow up. I was 10 and 11 when they were born. They are the reason I wanted my kids close together, the bond that my two sisters have is incredible, they’re best friends.
That’s something I hope to foster with my two. The bond of siblings in general can be one of the most amazing bonds you’ll ever experience but it does need to be nurtured to a certain extent. I hope I’m up to the challenge. I think I still have time right now though because as of now they’re still each other’s favorite person.
