I have ZERO expectations for Mother’s Day. I’ve never had one that was any different than every day life. Sure I may have gotten a card but I was still 100% on Mommy duty and was never really pampered.
Then this year happened. This year was AWESOME!
First B let me sleep in YAY. Then Mason and him made me and amazing breakfast; an omelet with goat cheese and a side of bacon. sausage and grits! After breakfast Mason gave me his Mother’s Day gift that he made at school.
If the day would have ended there I would have been thrilled. I loved his little homemade gift.
But then B presented me with a card AND a blender!
I love that it comes with a travel cup! Its not the fanciest blender in the world but it will do for now and I’m super excited about it because I burned out our last one!
After that we went for a drive in the country which was nice. We stopped somewhere on the mountain and blew bubbles then we headed back home. B made dinner and I got a picture with my babies!
WOW! Sounds like you had a very nice Mother’s Day. You got a really nice blender and now you are going to make really nice fruit smoothies. I like your picture of you and your children!
