I was very very fortunate to be able to meet every single one of my great grandmothers and even one of my great grandfathers. Although I was young when he passed and I don't remember him as much as I wish I did I know that the love was there. I can see it in the pictures I have. Growing up I thought it was normal to know your great grandma but I quickly realized that while many of us do have that good fortune there are many more who don't.
As a young child and even more so as adult I know how important it is to form relationships and bonds with the family members that came before you.
My Grandfather is getting older and this video really hit home for me.
Something I will always regret is not getting a picture with my Mother, grandmother, great grandmother and Mason. At least I got to have a picture of the two of them together. This isn't the best one but its one of the few I have. As she got older it was harder for him to hold him still which made pictures a little harder 🙂
Mason was so lucky to have meet his GREAT GREAT grandmother. I only wish that Kyla would have gotten to meet her as well.
Something that my family has always instilled in me is how important it is to spend time with family. Family always comes first with us and it's something that I plan on passing on to my children.
I always thought that was something that every family did. Taught their children that family comes first but that's not the case so I want to make sure my children know what's most important. Family.

Nice picture of your Grandmother and daughter. I wish I had more pictures of my family also. I remember my Grandma and Granpa, but no one took any pictures of us with them. I do not understand why I have no pictures. I have mad sure that my son knows his Grandpa and Grandma and take pictures with them.
