Earth's Finest City Guide By FIJI Water Featuring New York City FOOD

While I'm currently living in Virginia I was born and raised a New Yorker so it should come as no surprise to anyone that I have a soft spot for New York City.

I don't go in very often but when I do it never disappoints. There is always something to do, see and explore no matter what part of the city you're in.

FIJI Water made a Earth’s Finest City Guide – New York among other cities like Earth’s Finest City Guide – Dubai and Earth’s Finest City Guide – Singapore. They have one for Las Vegas too which I wish I would have seen before I went in October. They shared some great places to eat and since I love to eat that was my focus as I went throught the guide.

Not surprisingly I didn't know many of the places they listed but that's what I love about NYC and the food it has to offer, it's plentiful and diverse.

This amazing dish comes from La Cenita:

A huge, buzzed-about Mexican restaurant has arrived in the Meatpacking District. Expect shareable plates like tacos, tostadas and ceviche, and beautiful people in high heels and stylish suits imbibing tequila-centric and mezcal-based cocktails.

And let's not forget about Pizza. It's not a visit to New York if you don't have some Pizza. They reccomend Rubirosa. You can find Rubirosa in SoHo. But of course, that's not all they have.

It's Italian Food, at it's finest!

But if you're into more American food NYC has you covered there too with Shake Shake on Madison Avenue and East 23rd Street.

But for me, my favorite place to eat when I go into NYC is Carmine's.

It's family style which is so much fun because it means you get to try a lot of different things. It doesn't feel like a proper trip to NYC if Carmine's isn't involved! I went for the first time with my Aunt and it always reminds me of her!

And now I'm officially hungry which isn't the best thing to do when you have to go grocery shopping but, hey it happens right? Something tells me dinner will be diverse this week, maybe some Mexican, and then Italian and of course America fare too!
