It’s true when they say that Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It helps keep you energized and gets your metabolism running. It’s important that your breakfast has some protein in it. Why? Because protein helps keep you fuller for longer. You can get protein from eggs but if you’re anything like me you’re not waking up even earlier to make sure you get some eggs for breakfast before running out the door.
Luckily eggs aren’t the only place you can get protein! Silk has a new drink called Silk Fruit & Protein which comes in three different flavors: Mixed Berry, Strawberry Banana, Mango Peach
Even though it’s been out for the last year this is the first time I’ve really heard about it and I’m excited to find that it’s available at my local store. Check here to find it in a store near you. Instantly I knew they would make a great variation of the breakfast ice pops I make for Mason or as I’ve come to call them the “Best Mom Ever Ice Pops”. Why? Here’s an example:
Last night we had left over pizza for dinner but Mason wanted an ice pop (one of these) I told him no a few times because he “had to eat his dinner” and then I realized how silly I sounded Silk Fruit and Protein mixed with yogurt and fresh blackberries or pizza topped with pepperoni, cheese and sausage? Clearly the winner is the ice pop.
It was a win win for me. Mason got to eat his ice pop before dinner and declared me the Best Mom Ever and he got to eat something healthy! So without further ado, here’s how you can be the Best Mom Ever

These look delicious. I might make them for myself sine they are probably healthier then store bought and cheaper than the Greek yogurt store bought ones I buy
