Every year for the holidays I insist on getting the kids new clothes. I love looking back at their pictures, they look so put together even if the look on their face isn’t exactly put together (or even in it). Take last year’s New Year’s Eve picture as an example.
This year instead of being last minute for the kids holiday outfits I headed to OshKosh B’Gosh online since I don’t have one locally, hopefully you’re lucky enough to have one locally. Even though my kids are still in Toddler sizes we have YEARS of OshKosh B’gosh in our future because they have sizes for children aged 0-12!
We have so many different family holiday events to attend and I LOVE getting fun and festive outfits for every occasion. I grew up wearing OshKosh B’Gosh and it’s fun that my kids can wear it now too. I love their pieces because they’re classic but yet they still follow current and up to date trends.

I’m most in love with one of the holiday outfits I picked for them. I feel like years from now my kids will look back on these photos and they won’t think “What was she thinking”. In fact I’m pretty sure they’ll think I have terrific taste!
This photo to me is all about #GiveHappy since taking holiday photos is one of our traditions. This will remind me of the holidays, my son’s 5th Christmas and my daughter’s 2nd for years to come.

How to #GiveHappy
One of the ways you can #GiveHappy is by creating traditions! I work hard to make sure my kids have things that are distinctly holiday related.
One of our traditions is a Book Advent that I started last year. We wrap 24 of their Christmas/Winter books that only come out during this time of the year. Each night they pick the book from the top, unwrap it and we read it. It’s either Christmas or Winter related. On Christmas Eve they open a NEW book that will be added to the collection.
More traditions include new personalized ornaments each year that fit them and what they were into at the time, baking cookies, Christmas Countdowns and matching or coordinating Christmas PJs. I’m hoping to find some for Mason that match the “Joy” ones I got for Kyla!
It’s not all about holiday traditions when it comes to #GiveHappy. It’s about so much more than that. It’s about the little things. It’s about being kind to those around you, giving hugs, sharing laughter and spreading holiday cheer that lasts all year long.
I want to #GiveHappy to them so that THEY want to #GiveHappy to others around them and one day to their own kids.
