This week has been crazy for me! Remember when I said that I had a birth on Sunday? Well less than 4 days after that birth I had another birth right smack in the middle of the night. Birth you ask? No, I’m not an Obstetrician or a Midwife. I’m a Doula!

Being a Doula is such a fun job, I love supporting mothers as they bring their babies into this world. Due to the nature of my job I learn a lot about a Mom, including her past birth experience, life experiences and even to a certain extent her medical history. A lot of this stuff is written down by my clients in a questionnaire so that I can have access to it throughout my time with them as a reference. Add that to my uncanny ability to lose my debit cards and a stack of papers that need to be declutter and the Fellowes M-12C Shredder was high on my list of needs for my little home “office”.

I’m not the only one who could use one of these though they also make a great gift for just about anyone that has paper clutter and/or a business to run. And doesn’t everyone have paper clutter?! My Father in Law runs his own mechanic shop and something like this would come in so handy it would help to keep his information and his costumer’s information secure!

For me, I’m using it to keep myself organized which is especially important around the holidays with so many things to do. One of the ways I use the Fellowes M-12C Shredder to help me stay organized is with my daily mail. Anything that needs to be tossed from the mail goes directly into the shredder. My paper clutter has been cut down enormously and I feel safer knowing that the Fellowes M-12C Shredder has turned any personal information into something unreadable! I love that it can shred credit cards too since I often have old ones that need to be properly gotten rid of! It’s the curse of someone who often losses and then finds their credit cards but not BEFORE they order a new one. Anyone else with me on that one?

I don’t typically recommend child labor but I will say that Mason was pretty darn excited to shred some paper and show off the SafeSense Technology!

He was also fascinated with all the shredded paper, after each thing we shredded he would open the bin in amazement. That’s another thing I love about this paper shredder, it has a self contained bin that holds all the shredded paper for less mess and easy clean up!
