It should come as no surprise to you that I’m not always the most organized Mom and you’ll catch me OFTEN starting to wonder what’s for dinner at 5pm which means that sometimes I have to improvise and think outside the box for what we’ll have for dinner. Or in this case IN the box.
In the box? Yup. The Kellogg’s Corn Flakes box to be exact! Ever wonder what in the world you’re going to do with that last bit of cereal? If it’s Corn Flakes you don’t have to wonder anymore. I bring you Chik’n Nuggets Noodle Casserole made with the bottom of the box Kellogg’s Corn Flakes.
Preheat your oven to 350° F.
Prepare two dry cups of egg noodles according to package directions.
While the noodles are cooking, in a large saucepan heat 1 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese, 1 can (10 3/4 oz.) condensed cream of mushroom soup, 1/2 cup milk and 1/2 cups frozen peas. Stir frequently until everything has been combined and is hot!
Stir in MORNINGSTAR FARMS Chik’N Nuggets, noodles and pepper.
Pour everything into a small casserole dish and place in the oven at 350° F for about 20 minutes or until everything is hot and bubbly!
Sprinkle with 1/2 cup Kellogg’s Corn Flakes and return to oven about 5 minutes or until cereal starts to brown.
Serve hot and ENJOY!
I decided not to tell B that this wasn’t really Chicken and instead Morning Start Chik’n and he had no idea! This is a great meal for Meatless Monday which is something we’ve decided to do so it will fit right in!

Yummm, this looks so good! I am always annoyed with the last bits in a cereal box that aren’t enough for a full bowl… I have never thought to use them in another recipe lol. Checking out this soup recipe for the leftover mini wheats we have right now!
