Mason requests Banana Bread almost every time he sees bananas at the store so the last time we were out and he saw Bananas and asked for banana bread I thought why not? So I picked up some bananas. I knew right away that I didn’t want to make my typical banana bread. Sure its delicious but I wanted to switch it up a little so I decided to make a combo of the Strawberry Bread I made the other day and Banana Bread everybody loves Strawberry and Banana together so I figured Strawberry Banana Bread would be the same.
Here we go.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Slice 10oz of strawberries with 2 tbs white sugar and 1 tbs flour and set aside
Mash three bananas and set aside
In a medium bowl combine 1 3/4 flour, 2 tsp baking powder , 1/4 tsp baking soda, 1/4 tsp salt , 1/4 tsp nutmeg and 1/4 tsp cinnamon.
In a small bowl cream 1/4 cup butter and 1/4 cup sugar. Add each egg one at a time. Add vanilla.
Add dry mixture to wet mixture and combine until just mixed.
Then add the bananas
Fold in the strawberries.
Grease a loaf pan and pour in the batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes.
The bread is done once a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean. Let cool for 10 minutes before removing from the pan. Continue to cool on a wire rack for another 10 minutes before slicing in.

Awesome recipe! I've had it bookmarked forever to try and finally did today. I don't have a mixer, so I had to try to cream the butter by hand. My mix didn't come out quite as smooth as it should have and the bread wasn't as pretty, but tasted delish!
I’m so glad you liked it! Pretty doesn’t matter as long as it tastes good 🙂
