Back to the Cutting Board...

So I decided that a cutting board wasn’t were I wanted to go. Mainly because they didn’t have the one I really wanted, I was sad but I have moved on to bigger and better things 😉

Ever since I started cooking more all I keep thinking about is revamping my kitchen. The floors were just done within the last two years and so were the walls and the cabinets and counters were just done within the last couple of months so really the only thing that needs to be revamped is our kitchen table.

While I like the one we currently have, {it’s the perfect size can expand and was free} I’m not a huge fan of the color, it doesn’t match our kitchen. So for the last couple of months I’ve been looking at dining sets with huge green eyes!

I love sites like www.diningfurniture.com because it allows you to search for everything you need. I searched wood, seats 4+ with an extension, casual dining and I found two that I really liked:

Color wise these sets are completely different so I thought it was kind of funny that they were the two I was drawn to but I love them both. They both do exactly what I need them to do, they’re small enough for my kitchen and for my family of three but they have a butterfly leaf that it’s inside the table which allows it to expand when we have guests!

I think either would go great with my kitchen, we have brownish tiles, pretty golden yellow walls, a darkish cabinets and a neutral counter top to give you an idea soo….
