One of the reason I chose to weigh myself on Fridays was because I knew that the weekends tend to be pitfalls for diets. So the last thing I wanted to do was weigh myself on a Monday.
Anyway the last two days I’ve completely tanked my diet. Ironically enough it’s the only two days I’ve exercised in quite some time!
On Saturday I walked 5 miles. Yes 5. B’s Mom and I walked downtown from my house and then walked back to my house. Then we went to Costco. Enter Pitfall number 1:
Costco samples to be exact. There were SO many and they were so hard to turn down and to be honest I didn’t try to turn them down. But even that I didn’t necessarily consider a pitfall, I figured the workout fixed that although the point of working out was to lose weight NOT to eat Costco samples.
That very same day I had pitfall number 2
- Just because you have a pitfall doesn’t mean you have to have pitfall after pitfall after pitfall after pitfall…well you get the point
- Moderation is Key
- It’s okay to have a pitfall or pitfalls. The best thing you can do is start the next day fresh, drink your water and work out harder/more!
Tomorrow or at this point Today’s another day! Plans include 20-30 minutes of Pilates and 35+ minutes of walking! And right now I’m going to do some crunches before bed. That will get rid of the crumb cake calories right? 😉
I’ll let you know how it goes!

I LOVE CADBURY CREAM EGGS!!! LOVE THEM. LIKE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE.
That is all.
Those eggs look amazing! But the way you numbered the pitfalls – priceless – and worth the calories! LOL
