So I’ve decided to stay in VA for Thanksgiving instead of going home to NY. Last year while I really enjoyed being with my family in NY I missed B and wished I had stayed in VA and done Thanksgiving with him!
Needless to say {I think} this is the first year that I will be making the bulk of the food with B’s help of course. I’m in charge of the Green Bean Casserole {My ABSOLUTE favorite and NOT a staple in my family’s thanksgivings!} and DESSERT!

But what I’m having trouble with is what desserts to make! I have a list of desserts that I’ve been thinking about some classic for Thanksgiving and others have a nice twist! But I need your help deciding if I do them all or just a couple of them. Here are my options:

So what do you think? Do I make them all? Should I only make two or three? Which ones? And while we’re at it…Any Side Dishes you wouldn’t be able to live without on Thanksgiving?

Oh man those cheesecakes look amazing! I may have to steal one…I always make a pumpkin praline cheesecake. I also love to start the meal with a cranberry apple walnut salad. YUM-MO! It has this amazing dressing with cranberries.
But the one thing I couldn't live without, would be stuffing. It could be boxed, I don't care. You could almost eliminate the turkey but please, please don't forget the stuffing.
It's neat to do something sort of traditional with a twist. I'd look up maybe some Pumpkin Trifles or something fun like that!
Candy bar cheesecake and an extra place setting for me – yum!!
I have to have pumpkin bars with the cream cheese frosting!!! And.. a side dish of lefse (because we're Norwegian). I'd say you have to make the pumpkin pie for sure, out of those, it's a classic!
this makes me soooo excited for thanksgiving!
