Mason is growing up so fast it’s scary! Thursday I was in the kitchen getting stuff done and Mason was crawling around at my feet. At one point something on TV made me stop and listen so I did and little man crawled over to me and climbed up my leg which is no big deal. He does this all the time and has been for at least a month now. Then he let go of me. This isn’t anything too new either. He usually stands there by himself for a little and then plops back down on his butt. But the next thing he did WAS different.
He took two tiny shuffle/steps.
And then of course he plopped back down on his little bottom.
I was super excited but figured that it was just a fluke. He’s not even 8 months there’s no way he could be getting ready to walk. I mean I KNOW that I’ve said he was on his way but I figured it’d be closer to 9 months then 7/8 Months. And maybe I still am {my sanity hopes I am}.
And then we were in the living room and he pulled himself up on the ottoman, looked at me, smiled his infectious smile and took two steps towards me without any type of support. TWICE! Now sure he kinda fell into the couch that last step but the point is he’s getting more and more confidant in himself to take steps.
All. By. Himself.
It looks like I might be right after all my little Mase Face is probably going to be WALKING by Halloween.
Wish me luck, I think I’m going to need it!

An early walker! This is exciting and a little nerve wracking because you have to start child proofing a little higher up! Great that he is taking some steps – way to go Mason!
Oh I bet your right… He will be cruising along all over the place by Halloween. How fun. Its so exciting to see them take their first steps. They just grow so fast. Good job to Mason! What a big boy 🙂

One of my twins started walking by 7 months , thanks God the other girl, no.
That is fast! All of my kids have been very slow in the mobility department, to include my baby who is 8 1/2 months old. He is just barely starting to sit up on his own and crawl around (not a real crawl, more like a caterpillar crawl, but he gets around!) Not even CLOSE to walking!
