One day before I hit 38 weeks and I’m getting this up. Oh well. My motto this last week or so has been better done than perfect!
Boy or girl: Team Green
Currently craving: Lasagna. Give me all the lasagna. I haven’t given in yet because I’m concerned it will give me heartburn but I did buy all the ingredients. And I’ve been eyeing this recipe too.
Currently Avoiding: Still avoiding tomato based products hence why I haven’t given into my lasagna craving.
Weight: Still about 18lbs up! I’m honestly happy with that, I know that a good 7lbs of it is the actual baby and another 3-5 is extra blood volume fluid and all that kind of stuff so I feel like I’ve done well weight wise this pregnancy!
Belly button status: In. Endless hole.
Sleep grade: I had the worst night of sleep yesterday. I just couldn’t get comfortable. But prior to last night it honestly hasn’t been that bad at all. My hips don’t even hurt as much as usual.
Recent Crazy Dream: I’m still waiting for another dream about who this little one if, or at least if it will be a boy or a girl.
Evidence of pregnancy brain: Nothing I can currently think of.
Symptoms?: I’ve been pretty tired lately. Standing for long amounts of time isn’t very fun. At some points the feeling of my pelvis spreading has been pretty distinct. Other times, it’s been fine.
Health/Appointments: My last appointment went well. Baby still sounds great. He/She is also head down and has been for quite some time.
Movement: Baby seems to have slowed down a little. Still plenty of movement but it’s clear this little one is running out of space in there. The weirdest feeling is when baby punches me right in my pelvic bone.
Names: We haven’t gotten anywhere on names. I wouldn’t be surprised if this baby is just like his sister and doesn’t have a name for a full week, if not longer. Good thing we’re not in a hospital.
Any baby related purchases? I purchased a two pack of gender neutral pants and some onesies/pants from someone who was selling their hand me downs. What I really need to do is go through all of our stuff in the attic, I just don’t feel like going up there.
