Coffee is my biggest vice. I’ve been known to drink more coffee in a day than water. I know I know, I shouldn’t do that. But it’s so yummy how could I not? Even with the weather cooling down I continue to drink my iced coffee. Typically I purchase it from a local coffee shop OR I make it myself.
Making it myself is fairly easy but it’s time consuming and instant gratification doesn’t happen which is frustrating especially now that I’m getting busier and busier with Mason being in school and being active in my play group. Having a quick and easy alternative is important to me. Yes, I just said IMPORTANT. I told you. I really like coffee. I need it!
Recently Green Mountain Coffee has come out with new Espresso Roast Iced Lattes. They come in two different flavors Vanilla and Mocha
Before I even get into how they tasted and what we thought I want to talk about how good Green Mountain Coffee is in a different aspect. Green Mountain Coffee works hard to make their business practices sustainable. They strive to reduce their waste and use energy responsibily. In addition to that their coffee is Fair Trade Certified. What does that mean? Farmers must follow strict environmental and social standards that help strengthen communities and protect fragile ecosystems. In return these Farmers receive a fair price for their beans. A $0.20 premium per pound goes directly to a community development fund. Organic coffee farmers earn an additional $0.30 per pound.
Is it Good?
First of all I love trying new coffee products as mentioned I’m coffee obsessed so I was super excited to try these! I tested the Vanilla first because Vanilla is my favorite!
With similar products I have felt it was a little too syrup but I’m happy to report that that is not the case with these! In addition to that it still tastes delicious as the ice melts which is exactly what is suppose to happen so SCORE!
These are perfect for when I’m on the run and need my iced coffee fix ASAP which is pretty much every day in case you were wondering!
Green Mountain Coffee Espresso Iced Lattes can be found in the diary section at Walmart and retail for $4.36 per bottle
