A couple of months ago I blogged about my ER order and I mentioned that I got the Thieves Kit. It came with two Thieves Foaming Hand Soaps which I’m a huge fan of. I love the way it smells and how well it works. The Thieves kit is such a great value that I don’t want to order it again until I’m out of most of what I purchased and while the we’re out of one of the hand soaps and almost out of the toothpaste we still have a lot of the other stuff so a DIY Foaming Hand Soap seemed like the way to go. It’s so easy to make and works just as well! It also cost a heck of a lot less, which is a major bonus.
Foaming Hand Soap Dispenser (I reused my old one)
3 tbs Liquid Castile Soap
10 Drops of Thieves Essential Oil (or Essential Oil of Choice)
Water (varies depending on size of container)
1. Add water to the bottle until it’s about 3/4 of the way full.
2. Add 5-10 Drops of Thieves (or Essential Oil of Choice)
3. Add 3 tbs Liquid Castile Soap
4. Slowly fill with water AS NEEDED.
5. Gently mix the contents by swirling the bottle or turning upside down and right side up multiple times.
How easy was that?
PRO TIP: Add your Castile soap last to avoid bubbles.
There are so many different scent combinations you can make using the essential oils. When I’m not using Thieves I love to use Purification.
