Summer is Almost Here, Try Hair Removal By Nair #sp #NairSummer

One major downside to being a woman (besides not being able to pee standing up)? Hair Removal. It is SUCH a pain in the butt. While I was pregnant with Kyla my hair growth on my legs was minimal so I barely shaved my legs. Fast forward to now almost 8 weeks after having Kyla (SOB) and my hair growth has caught up, it still wasn’t awful but something needed to be done which I discovered AFTER leaving the house wearing a dress. AHHHH.

Enter Nair.

They’re my go to for hair removal but I’ve never even thought to use it on my legs but I figured with their new Brazilian Spa Clay hair removal products at my disposable and summer rapidly approaching now was the time! Each product is infused with mango butter and açai berry which moisturizes the skin, and mineral-rich clay which purifies the skin. For my legs I used the Total Care Body Trio.

It has three easy steps.

Step 1 is the pre-wipe which contains mineral oil and chamomile to prep the skin before removing hair.

Step two is to apply the depilatory. You want to apply a thick cream and wait at least one minute before hopping into the shower. YUP you can get in the shower with the cream on! It includes the convenient Nair Shower Power® technology that works while you shower and is resistant to water BUT it is still recommended that you keep the area out of direct stream of water.

Step 3 is to wipe off the cream and apply the soothing post-use gel with Aloe Vera!

I was really impressed with how well it stay on in the shower and that it actually took my leg hair off. Best of all the entire process left my legs feeling silky smooth which is not the case when I simply shave. I can’t wait to use this before I go to the beach this summer! It’s going to be nice not shaving the entire time I’m there too.

I also used it on my Bikini Line and my under arms. It worked great on my bikini line, to be honest I wasn’t expecting it to work at all but it worked great. My under arms were a different story. I HIGHLY recommend listening to the warning and testing a small piece of your skin beforehand to make sure you don’t have a bad reaction. While it worked great on my bikini line and legs it didn’t work as well on my under arms. The hair DID come off which is the end goal but when  I wiped it off i discovered that I had a bad reaction and it burned. But this was completely *my* mistake since I didn’t follow the warning despite knowing that I have sensitive underarms!

Also apart of the Brazilian Spa Clay line is the Face Trio.

While I have no qualms about showing you my hairy legs. My hairy face is off limits 😉 Like the Total Care Body Trio this is a three step process.

Step 1 is the pre-balm which coats the skin to help minimize irritation and redness.

Step 2 is applying the depilatory, there’s not drying time so you can apply this right after using the pre-balm.

Step 3 is removing the depilatory and applying the moisturizer which will help neutralize the pH of your skin!

I was REALLY happy with my results, redness was minimized more than I’m used to and my skin was left feeling moisturized and not dry like it has been using other products.

If you’re looking to ditch the razor I would highly suggest the Total Care Body Trio and since you should never use a razor on your face the new Total Care Face Trio is a great product and is worth trying the next time you need something!

Disclosure: Nair sent me the Total Care Body Trio and Total Care Face Trio for review purposes. I was also compensated for my time in writing and amplifying the post. All opinions are 100% my own and I was not obligated to share a positive experience only.
