Mason has always had sensitive skin. He would easily break out in rashes on his body and bumps which to me signified extremely dry skin. Luckily it never seemed like it was too painful for him but it was still a concern for me.
We’ve tried many products with limited success until now, Exederm was sent to us for review about a month ago and we’ve had great success so far.
We received the cleansing baby bath and the intensive baby moisturizer. Both have been a huge help with Mason’s skin, I’ve noticed that since making the switch his skin doesn’t seem as red or dry.
Recently we went to my parents house and forgot to bring the Exederm with us and I noticed that his red rashy/splotches were starting to come back. It makes sense when you consider that Exederm has:
- No Fragrance
- No Color or Dyes
- No Parabens
- No (SLS) Sodum Laureth Sulfate
- No Lanolin
- No (CAPB) Cocamidopropyl Betaine
- No Propylene Glycol
- No Phthalates
- Now that we’re back to Exederm I can almost immediately see a difference. Mason really needs products that are ultra sensitive and I’m so glad that I found something that works.
I also love that it scores well the Skindeep Database. That’s something that B and I have been looking into more and more. We really want to be conscious of the products that we’re using specifically when it comes to our babies! The Cleansing Baby Bath scores a 1 and the Intensive Baby Moisturizer scores are 2 both are considered Low Hazard!
Here’s how the Cleansing Baby Bath Compares to other products you’re most likely to find at your local store.
and the Intensive Baby Moisturizer
Even if your child doesn’t have sensitive skin I would recommend it for the fact that it’s free of all the ingredients I listed above! The less these types of things are on your kids the better!
Exederm can be found at various retailers as well as on Amazon
