Have you heard of the State Farm Neighborhood Assist Program? Thanks to State Farm and with your help 40 Causes will receive a $25, 000 Grant. In February submissions began, and in April they were narrowed down to the Top 200 and voting began.
That’s where you come in! By visiting the State Farm Facebook you can vote for your favorite causes. You can vote 10 times per day for any different combination of causes so you’re able to spread the love or you can vote 10 times for the same cause!
What I love about the way this voting system works is they make it easy for you to vote even if you don’t know a specific cause that is in the contest. For example you can narrow it down by state or you can narrow it down by type (Safety, Education, Community Development) in the bottom right of the screen.
or you can browse through all 200 causes to choose the ones that you feel most passionate about
The first time I voted I choose to narrow it down by state, I choose VA and NY
There are so many great causes to choose from. I wish I could vote for them all. Could you imagine what $25,000 can do for some of these causes? It would be beyond helpful./ I wish that I would have realized they were doing this. I have a couple of causes who I would have loved to submit for the chance to be granted $25,000.
Last year one of the winners was Paws Place which is located in Wilmington, NC.
More winners from last year can be found here.
So many great causes need your help. Head to the State Farm Neighborhood Assist Facebook Tab and vote for your favorite causes. Help them make a difference in their community. Maybe you’ll even be surprised to see that a cause local to you is included. I know that for me there is a great program only an hour from me that needed, deserved and got my vote!
