National Breakfast Week

Every week seems to be “National” something week and the week of March 4th is no different! March 4th is the beginning of National Breakfast Week.

Kellogg’s wants you to celebrate by learning more about their “Share Breakfast” movement!

KelloggsShareBreakfastEveryone knows that breakfast is the most important meal of the day but how many of you can honestly say that you or your kids get it every morning? If you have the ability to give your child breakfast every morning you should make sure it happens, there are so many families who DON’T have the ability to give their children breakfast every morning and breakfast is SO important.

It kicks starts your day and gets your body and brain working! I make sure that Mason gets breakfast every morning (I’m still working on me) and I know that it makes a difference in his day. His favorite go tos are cereal, a cereal bar or cheese and an apple!

The Kellogg’s Share Breakfast Movement is in it’s third year and they want to share one million breakfasts with kids in need through grants to schools or school districts to help them increase their participation in school breakfast programs! Taye Diggs has joined forces with Kellogg’s Share Breakfast Movement because he knows just how important breakfast is for families

Like Taye Diggs you can help and do your part too to spread the word about how important breakfast is and how Kellogg’s is trying to help. There are a couple of ways that you can help spread the word and luckily they’re all super easy! One way is to help share the video you just watched above.

Need another way? RT this tweet:

it takes two seconds, come on, you can do it!

Or maybe you watch and share some of the videos on the Share Breakfast website.  You can also share with your friends and family on Facebook or on Pinterest.

All of these things are SO easy to do and you can help make a difference. Still not sure about The Power of Breakfast? Check this out (and pin it and tweet it):
