This One is JUST Right #culinarychic

Whenever I’m dieting my stomach feels like it’s a bottomless pit but when I’m pregnant and starved I can barely eat two bites before I’m completely full. oh the irony.

The last couple of weeks I’ve been eating smaller meals since Baby3 is taking up pretty much all of the room in my stomach region. No matter how hard I try I can’t seem to get the portion correctly. I’m always eating with my eyes.

The other day we went out to eat and I ordered mozzarella sticks, pizza and a salad. B had said something to me like “you’re not going to be able to eat all that” of course I had to prove him wrong since we were paying for it and boy did *I* end up paying for it! Not only in the way I felt after but on the scale too!

So far I haven’t been “warned” about my weight but it doesn’t hurt to increase my veggie intake and make sure my meals are smaller and more well rounded. Lately I’ve been helping myself along with that by getting Lean Cuisine Meals.

They’re the perfect portion and well rounded, they have carbs, protein and veggies! I’ve always been a fan of Lean Cuisine meals so I was excited to see that they have a Cuisine Culinary Collection.

Chefs Michelle Bernstein, Brad Farmerie, Paul Kahan, Anita Lo, Lior Lev Sercarz and Lucien Vendome all gathered together to help Lean Cuisine come up with bolder colors and tastes!

LeanCusine The two that caught my eye were the Chicken with Basil Cream Sauce and the Chicken Carbonara. They also had a yummy Lemon Chicken and Asparagus Ravioli but my grocery store didn’t have them, I can’t wait until they do though.

I tried the Chicken with Basil Cream Sauce first. You pop it into the microwave for 3 minutes with the film on, then take the film off, stir and put in for another 2 minutes. Then it’s all ready to eat!

While I was snapping my picture B commented “It looks good” and I was pleased to say it tasted good as well!

Best of all? It was the *perfect* size for my stomach. When I was finished I felt full but I didn’t feel over stuffed at all!

I plan on stocking up on them for after Baby3 too it will be perfect for quick and easy meals and hopefully it will help me drop the baby weight a little quicker! Wouldn’t that be nice?

Disclosure: Lean Cuisine through DailyBuzz Food to help promote their new line of Chef’s Pick products. I have been compensated for my time commitment to work with this product. However, my opinions are entirely my own and I have not been paid to publish positive comments. Thank you Lean Cuisine!

I’m a Top Chef addict and have been meaning to try the crustless chicken pot pie Lean Cuisine, since I liked the chef that inspired it! haha. That does look really delicious!

I know when I was pregnant I always wanted burgers and steaks and when we went out for them I would force myself to eat all of my meal to the point where I was so full that it was hard to breathe. I also gained 50 pounds during my pregnancy!
