I can’t say that I’m really sad to see 2012 go.
2012.
You sucked.
2011 was better. In 2011 I found out that we were expecting Baby #2 a baby to be born in July 2012. I was pretty confidant 2012 was going to be awesome as we added to our family.
There we are NYE 2011. The three of us. Four if you count Elena growing away inside of me .
But Baby2 came FAR too early. February 25th 2012 instead of Late July 2012.
It wasn’t all bad. Mason got cuter every day of course, it was the year I felt my baby girl squirming in my tummy, the year I met her, the year our lives changed forever and in July as we mourned a due date that would never be we found out we were expecting Baby3 and of course that made things better.
But even so I’m ready for 2013. I’m ready for 2013 to be a year of great things. I’m ready to meet Baby3 IN MARCH.
This is us this year and we’re smiling, we’re happy but someone is missing, two someones to be exact. B and Elena who should be around 5 1/2 months. With a 5 1/2 year old I wouldn’t even have been visiting NY I would have been ringing in baby girls first New Year in VA with B!
It’s amazing how different life is when something so drastic happens to your family even when it seems small.
I’m sure that in 2012 I had a bunch of goals. I know one of them was to lose weight in a couple of months of course, I hinted at my pregnancy then.
I don’t even know if I should do goals this year. Sometimes I feel like they’re pointless. Maybe instead I’ll go with things I’d like to do in 2013 and most importantly it’s to bring home Baby3 as safe and sound as possible. It wouldn’t hurt to organize the house and read some more either 🙂

I am just making goals I have to accomplish this year as well. Things like organize and move the baby’s room. But I don’t want to set any hard set weight loss etc goals. I just want to be happy and healthy

Again, I’m sorry for your loss of baby Elena. I miscarried right before Christmas in 2010 and both of my girls were born premature so while I don’t know what you’ve been through, I can relate. Here’s hoping for a happier, healthier 2013 and a beautiful new addition to your family very soon!

2012 had big highs and even bigger lows for us, so I'm glad to see it go too. I hope 2013 is wonderful for you.

Some years are just not ones we want to remember. I think we've all had those New Years when we've said good riddance! Here's to 2013!
