My non-pregnant version of Mommy’s time out almost always includes a trip to Target, on a really fun night it involves Whipped Vodka but seeing as I’m pregnant now I have to stick with just Target.
Last night I needed a time out. B has been nesting (yes, I said B, not me) and it’s been driving me CRAZY. It’s stressing me out. I know we need to get rid of stuff and organize but doing it all at once is giving me anxiety. So as soon as he was done with his latest project I ran to Target sans Mase Face.
First stop? The Starbucks in Target.
Like I always do I walk pretty much the entire store. Lately I’ve been stopping a lot in the baby aisles just checking to see what’s on sale or things I may want/need for baby girl.
I came across these adorable bibs, we don’t even really use bibs like that and we have an over abundance from Mason but I couldn’t help but pick these up
The second one says I <3 Mommy and the third says “I’d Rather be Blogging”. Could they BE anymore perfect?!
After checking out the baby aisle I browsed the toys to see if there was anything that jumped out at me to get Mason for Christmas. Then I did a look through the food to see if anything good was on clearance. I picked up some organic stock to help make Turkey Pot Pie tomorrow and some things we needed around the house before heading to check out. Once at check out I picked up People Style Watch and InStyle.
Now until December 7th if you buy both magazines you get a $5 Target Gift Card. At first I was a little hesitant that it wouldn’t work because it wasn’t marked but sure enough I got my $5 Target Gift Card!
I’m pretty excited to have an extra $5 Target Dollars to spend the next time I go. I’ll probably use it to buy Mason this adorable Cars night light that I saw while shopping for light bulbs today! Or maybe the next issue of @StyleWatchMag or @InStyle?

Target is totally my mommy time out spot too! It’s like a mini-vacation going alone..but then I always buy 1000 things for the kiddo while there anyway haha.

lol yup half the stuff I got was for the kids. I got those bibs and undies for Mason’s stockings! I did get myself a Glee Christmas Album Volume 2. I already have Volume 1 of course.

Target is my favorite place to shop and I love they have a Starbucks too!

Me too! I don’t like when I go to ones without the coffee! My Target in Harrisonburg has the Target food market with Pizza Hut AND a starbucks!

Hehe, my kids always have to get a personal pan pizza when we leave Target. I must admit, I get one too! It keeps me from raiding the groceries as soon as I get in the car!

I think it is so funny for me now that going to Target or even the grocery store is like a vacation. It is amazing though how much easier it is to stroll down those isles without kids in tow 🙂

I love going to target but I can never get out of there for less than $100. Especially now that I am pregnant. The baby section is always calling my name.
Christa says
I usually keep it below 100 but rarely less than 50

My mommy time out used to involve Zumba, but now that I am pregnant and sick all the time my mommy timeout involves going to bed early. Lame – I know. Hopefully the sickness will pass soon and I can get back to fun stuff. It looks like your target trip was nice.

There is nothing like getting a time out at Target! Just awesome. I’m going tomorrow.
