Last week Mason and I both shared a first!
We got our very first REAL Christmas Tree!
I was *so* excited when we decided to get one, it was all very spur of the moment. I mentioned that we should go soon and next thing I knew we were in the car headed out to a Christmas Tree Farm. I think I was just as excited as Mason to get a tree!c
It was rather warm out but when we stopped to get gas I got a Dunkachino. When we got to the Christmas Tree Farm I pretty much immediately started taking pictures of him by the tree. I feel like I was fumbling with my camera though. I couldn’t get a non blurry one of him in front of the tree. After looking at some tutorials I think I had him to close to the tree. Booo.
Mason likes to steal my coffee. I think it’s because he knows that he can’t have it and I caught him trying to steal it red handed. I caught him trying to steal my Dunkin while I was looking at a tree with B!
I tried the picture in front of the tree thing again and I got a good one but I wish he had the saw in his hand!
I may have let him have a little sip of my half coffee half hot chocolate so I could get the picture above.
Then we found the perfect tree (or so we thought) and B and Mason began cutting down the tree.
That night we set up the tree and realized it was WAY too massive for our house. But it’s our tree. Our very real tree and I love it.
Pictures of this finished product to come soon!

That is cool! I hope we get to go to a farm this year. It would be a first for us too!

Awww, both of our Mason’s went and chopped down trees last week!!
I don’t drink coffee at all, but Mason is always serving us “REALLY HOT!! coffee” from his toy kitchen, so apparently “really hot!!” is the common daycare deterrent from the coffee, which apparently doesn’t work well either. LOL
I can’t believe our boys are getting so big!

Looks like such a fun day! I wish I weren’t allergic so we could have a real tree!

He is so stinking cute! Love it! I grew up with a real tree in my home and i love the smell of them. As a homeowner, I do not like the mess of them and thus i own a fake prelit tree now. I miss the smell though and love it when I walk into a house with a real Christmas tree 🙂

We have never had a real tree and have been considering it for the last few years. I just worry so much about the mess and everything. I do love the smell so I had to go with the fake scent lol.
