For the first time this year we went on a family vaction! We were so excited to head to the beach this summer but I must admit I was a little nervous for a couple of reasons.
1) We were headed to the beach, combine the water with my fearless toddler and I knew that I was going to be on edge the whole time
2) We were taking our dog Cash with us. He's a great dog but I was nervous about what the stress of traveling would be like for him.
Luckily it turns out that Mason wasn't quite as fearless as I thought he was when it comes to the Ocean which is GREAT.
And we had a Comfort Zone® with D.A.P.® Diffuser for Cash
As soon as we got to the house Cash ran around sniffing every little thing and exploring our new environment after an 8 hour car ride. While he was exploring I plugged in the diffuser in the room that I knew we would be using the most.
For the most part Cash is a great dog. He's super protective of us, especially of Mason and I when I'm pregnant and barks to alert us when someone is at the door and otherwise that's pretty much it. Like I said, he's a great dog.
But I still wanted to use the diffuser to help alleivate any stress he may feel from the long car ride and his change in environment.
D.A.P. is also know as Dog Appeasing Pheromone it's used in Comfort Zone® Products for Dogs to help manage stress related behavior in dogs cause by things like thunderstorms, loud noises, adjusting to a new environement (what we used it for), transitions, being left alone or traveling.
Within minutes of plugging it in I noticed how comfortable and relaxed Cash seemed to be. He just sat there with his head in his paws looking nice and calm! Even B noticed the difference in Cash!
It was great to see him so comfortable in our new surroundings!
Comfort Zone® with D.A.P.® also helps control excessive barking, destructive digging, chewing and house soiling. I was especially excited for the house soiling because I was nervous that Cash may do that in the unfamilar environment but he didn't!
