If there is one thing I noticed since I started blogging is that EVERYONE in the blogging world seems to be crafty in some way shape or form. So many bloggers sell the most amazing things. It makes sense, we all have the urge to write and share which automatically shows our creative side. What I love most is that each blogger is creative in their very own way. Except for maybe me LOL.
Well I am a little creative, like this summer I made a bunch of chalkboard frames in hopes of attending a craft fair and selling them but life got in the way and I never got around to doing it or finishing all of the framers so I started thinking about selling the frames online.
Since all the frames I made were more of a hobby than a business it didn’t make sense for me to start a shop of some sort especially since I made all different sort of things that didn’t all seem to fit into one category.
Recently I’ve been introduced to ShopLocket.com.
ShopLocket makes it easy to sell stuff on your blog or even Facebook without having to set up or a store. I set one up myself for one of the Chalkboard Frames that is OFFICIALLY available for purchase. It was ridiculously easy to do and it’s perfect for people like me who don’t have enough a lot of inventory or don’t have the time to spend hours setting up a shop.
What do you think? Did it come out cute? I have a couple of more that I can list soon and I’ll be using ShopLocket for sure, it’s too easy not too.
They have a bunch of different options too so I can even set up a page on my blog for the stuff I made.
Another thing you ca use it for? If you’re having a “Closet Sale”. This is so much easier than listing picture on your blog and getting a ton of emails regarding the same thing and trying to figure out who got it first!
Don’t have a website or Facebook Account? You can also send people straight to ShopLocket which works out perfect for people on message boards. How easy would it be to sell your cloth diapers or other baby items this way?
Now let’s talk money. When you sell a product, you’re charged 2.5% plus any payment processing fees. So if you’re selling something that’s $20, you’d pocket $18.62. Not too shabby especially when you consider the ease of use.
Right now if you sign up and fill out the Rafflecopter form below FIVE Lucky Winners will win a $100 Micheal’s Gift Card, perfect for creating goodies that you can sell using ShopLocket!
